Today I'm sharing my story about when I was pregnant, working for a large tech corporation and was overwhelmed with daily pregnancy-related illness.

This is an impossible bind women find themselves in because they need to work, yet they also need to care for their wellness.

Last week I wrote about what to do if your company doesn’t support you when life has gotten too life-y. But what if that’s not the case?

What if you are your own worst enemy?

Work will take everything you give it.

It will take your energy, your nights, your weekends, your vacation, your sleep.

That is, if you let it.
